My Approach
Hello and welcome! My name is Anastasia Strokova and I am a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and a Food For Life Instructor certified by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
You may be wondering what health coaching is all about. Quite simply, a health coach is a guide and mentor who empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. Nothing excites me more than helping someone like you take charge of their health. I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness and itโs based on 3 foundational principles:
1. Knowledge is Power. I strive to educate, inspire and empower you with the best information there is. I do not go with the popular fads and trends because you deserve nothing but the truth, however, I will always respect your choices. I believe that you are fully capable of making well-informed decisions and I will equip you to make the best choices in any given circumstance.
2. Know Yourself. Your health and even your health struggles are unique and require a personalized approach. Cookie-cutter diets, trendy magazine articles, or Dr. Google will not get you far. The right knowledge about your health and how to heal is very powerful and one of the key elements on the healing journey. I will work with you to get in touch with your bodyโs needs because I understand that life happens and your needs change. Together we will connect the dots to decipher your bodyโs unique needs and set your personal goals to work towards a sustainable change.
3. Love Thy Food. The right nutrition, supplementation, and herbs carry amazing healing powers! I will help and guide you to fall in love with food and make it the source of nourishment and healing for you. As your coach, I will not dictate a diet for you, but together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback. Together weโll co-create your health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what youโre working toward.

DISCOVERY CALL
The Discovery Call will be a chance for us to do a quick meet and greet and see if I can help you. Tell me what your main health concerns and goals are and, if there is a fit, we will strategize around what program would be the best for you. This is not a sales call or a medical advice. Any information you decide to share will remain confidential

HEALTH HISTORY
This is a complimentary session included in every one of my programs. I want to hear your story! We will walk through your health history, symptoms, concerns, goals, and aspirations in detail and deep dive into the root causes. This will ensure that we will create a powerful plan that is the best in your unique circumstances.

THE GAME PLAN
I will create a customized plan with nutritional guidance, herbal remedies and, supplementation to address the health goals and concerns that we identify during the Health History session. Depending on the program you choose, we may also work on meal planning, schedule a grocery store tour, do a pantry makeover, and more! And weโll have fun doing it.

ONGOING SUPPORT
You are not doing this alone! I will provide email support between sessions and weโll be checking in with each other. This is a critical piece that helps you stay on track and stay motivated. Besides, questions come up all the time when somebody is making lifestyle changes. I will take the guesswork out of it and support you every step of the way.
